I was going to start the blog on January 1st so I would have a whole year of thankfulness blogs, but why wait?? It's not that I don't have the time right now. My kiddos are off doing personal chores and starting schoolwork for the day and there is just so much to be thankful for!!=)
So...here we go!!!
Day 1: Today I am thankful for my Salvation. I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to know that there is a God in Heaven who loves me {John3:16}!! He knows my name. He knows how many hairs are on my head (which, sadly, is decreasing...age??){Matt.10:30}. He knows my in and outs. He knows my character (who I am when others are not looking). He knew me before I knew Him and loved me anyway!!!! He sent His son Jesus to die for MY sins before I was born {Rom5:8}. He gives peace beyond understanding {Phil4:7}. No matter what is going on in my crazy, chaotic life, He is in control and I can lean on Him for guidance, for acceptance, for wisdom, for understanding, for grace and mercy, for too much more to mention here. It will have to wait for another time!!!=)
